HELP & ADVICE

A little clarity
before you call.

Useful answers about our drainage service. Need advice about your own problem? We’re here to help.

What should I include in a quote request?

Tell us which drain or fixture is affected, what you have noticed, when it started and your postcode. Mention previous blockages and access restrictions. The form asks for your contact details so we can discuss the next step; you do not need to diagnose the fault.

Does sending the form book a visit?

No. The form starts an enquiry. We discuss the problem, availability, proposed work and price with you before arrangements are confirmed. If the problem is urgent, call 07746 382810 rather than waiting for an online reply.

What is the difference between jetting and a CCTV survey?

Jetting uses pressurised water to tackle material restricting a suitable drain. A CCTV survey uses a camera to inspect the pipe and investigate its condition. One clears or cleans; the other helps explain what is happening. We can discuss which approach fits your enquiry.

Why does the same drain keep blocking?

Repeated symptoms can mean an obstruction has not been fully resolved or that the pipe needs closer investigation. The symptoms alone do not confirm the cause. Tell us how often it happens and what previous work has been done so we can discuss whether CCTV inspection would be useful.

Can you help at a rented or commercial property?

Yes, we take enquiries from landlords, businesses and people managing premises, as well as householders. Include who can authorise the work, who will provide access and any opening-hour restrictions so these can be discussed before a visit.

Do I need to know where the blockage is?

No. Tell us what you can observe: a slow sink, water rising in a toilet, an outside overflow or several affected fixtures. Explain whether it is a new problem or a recurring one. That is enough to start a useful conversation.

What access information is useful?

Mention locked gates, restricted parking, shared entrances and whether someone needs to meet us at the property. If you know where the drain access points are, tell us. There is no need to open a cover or investigate the pipe yourself to request help.

Can I discuss a survey for a particular purpose?

Yes. Explain whether you need information for a property enquiry, a landlord or another specific purpose, and describe the reporting requirements. Ask us to confirm the scope and suitability of the proposed inspection before agreeing the work.
